100% Pinot Noir, an emblematic grape variety of Burgundy, renowned for its finesse and aromatic intensity.
Located on the Corton Hill, Clos des Cortons rests on soils rich in limestone and clay, giving the wine a velvety texture, assertive power and superb longevity.

Tasting

Color: Deep, intense and brilliant garnet red.
Nose: Powerful aromas of black fruits (blackberry, black cherry), violet, sweet spices and delicate wood, with a subtle touch of truffle and undergrowth.
Palate: Structured and generous, revealing fine and elegant tannins. A beautiful fullness on the palate, with a persistent and racy finish, carried by a superb minerality and notes of cocoa and liquorice.

Storage Potential

The 2020 Corton Clos des Cortons Faiveley Grand Cru is a wine made for aging. It can be enjoyed now with extended aeration, but it will reach its peak with 15 to 30 years of aging, developing an even more complex and refined aromatic palette.
