Grape varieties and terroir

Typical assembly of the right bank:

- Merlot (70-75%): richness, velvety and roundness
- Cabernet Franc (20-25%): freshness, aromatic complexity
- Cabernet Sauvignon (5-10%): structure and length in the mouth

The vines are planted on a clay-limestone plateau at an altitude of 100 metres, promoting slow ripening and the concentration of aromas.

Tasting

Color: Intense garnet red, with purple highlights.

Nose: Delicate and expressive, with aromas of fresh red fruits (cherry, raspberry), black fruits (blackcurrant), with nuances of flowers (peony), sweet spices and light mineral touches.

Palate: Silky and elegant attack, straight and precise palate with fine tannins and a beautiful acidic structure. The finish is long, fresh and mineral, balanced between bright fruit and floral complexity.

Storage Potential

Accessible young for its freshness, this wine will evolve harmoniously over 12 to 20 years, gaining in complexity and depth.

Food and Wine Pairings

Ideal with:

- Beef fillet in herb crust
- Roasted duck breast, reduced juice
- Farmhouse poultry with mushrooms
- Matured cheeses (Tomme de brebis, Comté 18 months)
