Grape varieties and terroir

Assembly centered on the expression of the fruit:

- Merlot (95-100%): flesh, roundness, richness
- Cabernet Franc (0-5%): tension, freshness, complexity

The vineyard is planted on clay-limestone and clay-sand soils, conducive to the production of silky, intense and expressive wines.

Tasting

Color: Intense, deep and brilliant purple red.

Nose: Very expressive, with notes of ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), flowers (violet), liquorice and vanilla, with a light mineral touch.

Palate: Smooth and fleshy attack, velvety texture and coated tannins. Beautiful concentration, balanced by controlled freshness. The finish is long and delicious, with notes of black fruits and sweet spices.

Storage Potential

A seductive wine from the first years but which will gain in complexity over 15 to 20 years, developing tertiary aromas of truffle and undergrowth.
