Grape varieties and terroir

This vintage is made from:

100% Pinot Noir: the king of Burgundy grape varieties, offering fruitiness, finesse and depth.

The vines are planted in the "Les Charmes de Daix" climate, bordering Gevrey-Chambertin, on rich and well-drained clay-limestone soils. This terroir gives the wine its fresh and fruity character, with a beautiful mineral expression.

Tasting

Color: Bright ruby red, with purple highlights.
Nose: Expressive and delicate, with aromas of crisp red fruits (morello cherry, raspberry), mixed with floral notes (peony, violet) and a discreet spicy touch.
Palate: Lively and precise attack, silky texture with fine and well-integrated tannins. The finish is fresh and elegant, marked by a beautiful minerality and notes of tangy berries.

Storage Potential

Already very pleasant in its youth for its bright fruit, this Burgundy can evolve elegantly over 5 to 7 years, developing more complex notes of undergrowth and sweet spices.

Food and Wine Pairings

A versatile wine, ideal to accompany:
- Beef tartare or carpaccio
- Roasted poultry or in light sauce
- Pork tenderloin with cranberries
- Matured soft cheeses (Brillat-Savarin, Reblochon)
- Quiche Lorraine or Burgundy pie
