Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this Pommard Rugiens comes from soils rich in iron and red clay, characteristic of this legendary terroir. Located on a hillside, this climate is renowned for producing wines that are both powerful and extremely refined, among the most sought-after in the Côte de Beaune.

Tasting

Color: Deep red with garnet highlights.

Nose: Intense bouquet combining black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), sweet spices, smoky notes and mineral touches.

Palate: Powerful and structured, with fine, tight tannins. Beautiful breadth on the palate, balanced between density and freshness. Persistent finish with spicy and earthy accents, typical of great Pommard.

Storage Potential

This Pommard Rugiens 2021 is made for aging: 15 to 25 years, with the ability to evolve superbly into complex tertiary aromas.
