Grape varieties and terroir

Bollinger Rosé is a subtle blend of:

62% Pinot Noir: structure and depth
24% Chardonnay: finesse and freshness
14% Pinot Meunier: roundness and deliciousness

A special feature of this vintage is the addition of 5 to 6% still red wine from the Maison's own plots in Aÿ and Verzenay, giving the wine its vibrant color and aromas of ripe red fruits. The grapes come from Premiers and Grands Crus from the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs.

Tasting

Color: Bright salmon pink, with delicate copper highlights, with a fine and persistent effervescence.
Nose: Intense and charming, with aromas of red fruits (wild strawberries, redcurrants, cherries), enhanced with notes of candied citrus fruits, sweet spices and a hint of brioche.
Palate: Lively and fresh attack, revealing a beautiful fullness. Silky texture, slightly vinous, typical of Bollinger, with a long and delicious finish on notes of raspberry, white pepper and blood orange zest.

Storage Potential

Bollinger Rosé is ready to drink now, but can evolve elegantly over 3 to 5 years, gaining in complexity and roundness.

Food and Wine Pairings

A rosé champagne with character, ideal for:

- Beef or red tuna carpaccio
- Salmon marinated with pink berries
- Roasted poultry with fine herbs
- Soft cheeses such as Brie de Meaux
- Slightly tangy red fruit tart

Bollinger

Iconic house of Champagne founded in 1829 in Aÿ, Bollinger embodies British elegance combined with the rigor of a great French wine. Renowned for its rich and vinous cuvées, the House favors Pinot Noir, the king grape that imparts power and depth to its champagnes. Aging in oak barrels and extended time on lees ensure creamy textures and a rare aromatic complexity. Bollinger is also the art of patience: each cuvée is aged well beyond the requirements of the appellation, to offer a refined and timeless style. Chosen by James Bond, adored by connoisseurs, the Bollinger signature symbolizes the excellence of demanding craftsmanship.
