Grape varieties and terroir

A blend faithful to the Figeac signature:

- Cabernet Franc (35%): freshness, florality, complexity

- Cabernet Sauvignon (35%): structure, tension, straightness

- Merlot (30%): volume, richness, deliciousness

The unique gravelly terroir of Saint-Émilion ensures optimal drainage and allows for slow and balanced ripening of the grapes.

Tasting

Color: Deep garnet red, bright and dense.

Nose: Of great complexity, it reveals aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), violet, graphite, with elegant spicy and woody notes (cedar, liquorice).

Palate: Full and velvety attack, precise tannic structure, balanced between density and freshness. The finish is long, carried by a superb minerality and nuances of ripe fruit and sweet spices.

Storage Potential

A vintage with great aging potential: 40 to 50 years, with remarkable aromatic development over time.

Food and Wine Pairings

An exceptional companion for:

- Rack of lamb in a herb crust
- Rossini beef fillet
- Roasted pigeon with porcini mushrooms
- Matured cheeses (Parmesan, Comté 36 months)
