Grape varieties and terroir

High precision assembly:

- Merlot (55%): fullness, velvety and charming
- Cabernet Franc (30%): freshness, tension, aromatic complexity
- Cabernet Sauvignon (15%): structure and persistence

The vines grow on clay-limestone soils at the foot of the hillside, giving the wine richness, minerality and depth.

Tasting

Color: Intense, deep and luminous purple red.

Nose: Complex and expressive, revealing aromas of ripe black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), violet, liquorice and cocoa bean, supported by a fine chalky minerality.

Palate: Full and velvety attack, dense but balanced by superb freshness. The tannins, of great finesse, ensure a solid structure without heaviness. Long, racy finish, with notes of sweet spices, graphite and candied black fruits.

Storage Potential

A vintage for long aging, promising a beautiful evolution over 20 to 25 years, developing tertiary aromas of truffle, undergrowth and leather.
